Apparently I was so excited to get to posting and learning about so many different things I hadn't actually done an introduction post. So here it is!
I am Charisma and I am 39 years old, for most of my life I have been a loner. I didn't ever have the want or desire to make new friends, but as I grow I now understand what it means to have connections with others.
My best friend of 28 years @tecnosgirl, aside from siblings, is my longest connection.
I have two children whom I would be lost without. I had quite the disruptive childhood, but again as I grow, I see why things are the way they are at times. I try my best to be understanding in life, without understanding, nothing really matters, does it? I am not sure where my path will lead but I am certainly glad it has led me here to #steemit.

What sort of stuff do you post about?
yeah I just hadn't introduced myself yet, mostly just about where my journey is taking me. I have wrote a couple of posts for the celestial challenge, poetry short stories, ramblings, and more :) life is my topic i suppose!
Newbies to my bbf's post you are spamming with your comments you don't realize it but I am here to help guide you before you do it so much users start flagging you. Don't ask for follows or votes on your blog in comments it is rude and doesn't work on steemit long term. Make a relevant comment and people will get curious on their own. Follow for follow doesn't work here on steemit. You want followers who like what you have to say that are going to come and read what you write. Doesn't matter if you gain 10000 followers if no one reads your stuff. Better to have 1000 followers that read what you right than 10K that doesn't.

Heh, I used to be into gaming more when I was younger, these days I'm gaming on the game of life, with a family of four plus a pet snake. :) Oh, and I host a local Go Club.
I don't think you'll end up badly here. We are a nice community (with just a few exceptions to the rule, and some annoying chattybots), and we like to support each other. So I guess you'll be fine! :)
