I'm new to the Steemit platform and it just so happens it's my youngest son's 11th birthday today. If you are a parent, I'm sure you can relate to the fact that as each year passes by you fondly remember all the memories of your baby. I've noticed if you are on Facebook, you'll benefit from the annual Memory of the Day to remind you of those special moments in your life.
Over the years I've learned a lot from my children but especially from my youngest. His desire to learn amazes me and has been a motivational force in my life to continue learning!
A. Several years back he self taught himself some coding with Khanacademy.org
B. Then he learned the Rubik's Cube on his own over a few weeks.

C. He's taught himself photography with my old Nikon D3300 and self-teaching himself editing with premier pro with courses on Lynda.com that are available free to Toronto Public Library card holders.
D. Now he's teaching himself the guitar.
E. He ran the 12K and was motivated to do so by 100 year old Marathoner Fauja Singh... which inspired me to run it last year.
He's my soccer super star who dances in the rain and enjoys walks with his papa.
As a father, I feel blessed and grateful to have a son who fills my heart with love and teaches me to keep growing, keep learning, keep sharing, keep writing, keep playing and love. Hopefully he'll inspire you all to never give up and live life cheerfully and in gratitude.
Thank you for reading and welcoming me to the Steemit forum.
Cheers, Jas Jagpal.
