Welcome!! I'm a fan of @redtravels, glad he got you on here! As far as cameras go, I like the Mirrorless better than dslr. Just because it's so lightweight and the quality is right up there. A Sony A6000 or even a5000 (that's what I have) is a great and relatively inexpensive camera! Only thing with sony is that it's a little more limited than a canon or other systems as far as lenses go. but I really love my sony system, great for videos too!
