Hi Theresa. I remember trying to make money with all those Bitcoin faucets too. I think I probably made about 10c before realising the withdrawal minimum was $5.
I remember buying my first bitcoin, and I actually had to use Linden dollars to do it, just because you can use PayPal to buy LD, but not Bitcoin. I think I had to go through about 2-3 steps, getting charged 5% at every step. I bought my first two bitcoins for $20 and thought damn, what a rip-off. It was a nice feeling to dig one of them out of an old hard drive a few years later to find that it was worth more than $900. Good times on the Bitcoin rollercoaster!
Welcome to Steemit and have a good one
LOL yes, the faucets took sooo long to deliver, but I made great use of them. I always had my tablet around with my tabs still open. LOL each 'chime' make it look like I'm busy. Speaking of sounds, I was conducting a presentation through my ipad and the Bitsler chat was popping like crazy through the device. LOLThank you for sharing that, @churdtzu! :)
I'm still digging my teeth into all of it. I'm sure at the time, there were many that had some buyer's remorse. I'm currently trading on Poloniex and Bittrex. It's become an obsession of mine. Thanks for the comment! :)
EPIC!! Haha....it lulled and blew up! :-O
