Friendly Readers,
My deep fondness to be part of this community. May you find your way until the last sentences of my intro blog. I’ve been meaning to finally break boundaries. I wanted to write things that had been long overdue. Courage, is what I lack. So, with writing I hope I’ll bring back the passion that had been unlit. Bring my enormous affection in doing the things that I once loved. To understand me better, may I tell you a little about myself.
Beyond the horizon?
I took a personality test to understand myself better, my personality is an INFJ-A, introverted-intuitive-feeling-judging (advocate). It is uncommon to have a personality like this because we tend to approach life with deep thoughtfulness and imagination. My approach to a certain person depends on his/her personality. I put boundaries at first rather than engaging on a certain topic to be able to study what kind of person I’m dealing with. I met a lot of people in this lifetime, but they just come and go. That’s what introverted people are. The one’s that stays in their lives are relationships that they treasure to death. I cannot describe as to what kind of person I am because people have their own perspectives and I don’t want to invalidate them, rather I want them to be able to figure out who I am as it is part of me growing up, to know from other people’s point of view my positive and my negative side (to slowly change those negative traits in a mature way).

[Why am I here and what I’m bringing to the table?]
The Start
One of my friends, my do or die friend (@Fixyetbroken) sees the potential in me doing this thing. She introduced me to this platform/community because she knows we have the same passion and hobbies. Generation Y or The Millennials, like me was not exposed in modern technology when we were young. Our past time, were reading books and physical activities. I am more into reading encyclopedias and novels, sometimes I write my own poems and stories. I am always eager to discover and learn new pastime like baking and cooking.
These are some of my baking results.
I was also curious in doing new things this year to bring back the courage that I’ve lost for the past years. It may not be easy but I know I’ll slowly gain it back. My goal is to bring inspiration and courage to the people who was lost in their way in finding success. May we hop on together on the voyage that’s worth a travel.
Story Time:
My curiousness on how other people write their stories (I wanted to know some techniques and seek inspiration to other writers). I’m a fan of reading (Mostly, romantic novels with an adventure, not the typical love story). I joined here to be able to read other people’s daily stories and to learn new from their work.
The first book that gave me the greatest impact is entitled, “The Choice by Og Mandino”. It is a story of exploring what lies beyond the golden doors of success, fame and wealth. I read this book when I was 4th grade, I think. It made me realize that when you get older, the emptiness that you’ll feel along the way is always valid. There’s always a possibility to not being able to get the things that you’ve dreamed of, or if you’ve been achieving success, then what comes next? Or would you rather chase success based on society’s standard or follow your heart and dreams. This book etched into my mind; how powerful choice is (that’ll give your life a 360° twist and turns). The freedom of choice regardless of what people around us think, and pursue your dreams beyond your wildest expectation. To gain power in doing the things that makes us feel alive.
Share my escapades:
My journey is as boring as your ordinary days. Sometimes, I question myself if living the way that I did is worthwhile. But, when I think about it, the journey of being here and having this kind of life is what I prayed for. Instead of doubts, I became thankful for being able to continue living this ordinariness. It may not be an extravagant journey, but it is worth it like a short story. Sharing life’s unending adventure, may it be good or bad will leave an inspiration to someone. As much as I wanted to travel and explore new places, I wanted to share to my readers an ordinary adventure that’ll be filled with lessons as we explore “life”. A journey that may come to an end but how you traverse that escapade leaving worthwhile connections and memories is what matters. Though, extraordinary stories bring us magic, there’s also hope in the ordinary.
What's next?
Au revoir (Until we met again):
This generation had been modernized. Physical books had been diminished little by little. With this new platform, I hope people shouldn’t forget how relaxing it is to smell the fragrance of the book while you flip its’ pages. I’m also fond of the thought that this kind of community was created so that we can easily access and read lots of interesting topics. May we share and create lots of unique stories. This isn’t the last time I’ll be leaving a piece of my mind in this platform, that’s why I didn’t say goodbye. This is the beginning of my quest. As what I said, this dream had been long overdue. If not now, then when? My favorite book is “The Choice”, so from now on, the choices that I’ll be making will break barriers and sail beyond horizons. I’m overwhelmed that you take time to read my piece, you being able to finish what I wrote is already an inspiration to me. I hope you’re not bored in reading this introduction.
