Hey Everyone! Check out- My Official Introduction to Steemit!

Hello to all my fellow steemians out there! I think now would be a good time to go ahead and introduce myself to all of you, as I have been a steemian of my own for a few weeks now. My name is Connor, I am 21 years old and I currently live in Columbus, OH but am originally from the Dayton area in a small town known as Troy. Over these last few weeks, I have ultimately been trying to surf around, become acclimated with this new world of social media, engage with new people and share ideas/learn something of value which I can use in my everyday life. Thus far, I have been able to do just that and more- steemit is such an amazing platform and the community that is being built upon each and every day is simply incredible in so many facets.

Upon becoming a member of the steemit community in late November, I have ultimately been trying to put out some 'feeler' posts in order to see what the steemit world likes to hear about. Most of my posts so far have consisted of travel tips/insights or motivational and habitual actions that I like to take part in. I will continue these sort of posts, but I also plan to dabble with other areas on this platform, too- I don't want to limit my abilities to just one or a few specific topic areas, I want to be versatile in the kinds of things I post about, so look for some diverse content coming out in the near future. Some of this new content will likely include: fictional/descriptive stories, informational posts regarding scientific topics, political or health related topics, unique and personal travel encounters, yoga and fitness motivation, as well as posts dedicated to all of you... simply let me know and I will produce anything (I love a nice challenge).

The things that makes this platform so distinctive, is the fact that everyone brings their very own unique flavor and spice to steemit, which is what I find so exceptionally exclusive about this site. We all bring to the table something of value which hopefully someone can utilize in a situation or a time of need in their life, whether it be in this very instant, tomorrow or some later date in the future. Regardless of when, the real question is how? The answer to this question is steemit, my friends, and I'm so incredibly grateful to have stumbled upon this untapped resource.

The cryptosphere is a whole new game for me, and whether I got into this late or not is besides the fact because I am here now, in this very instant, and that is what matters the most. I am using this platform as a learning tool to help set the foundation for my future and the endeavors which lie ahead of me. Since joining steemit, I have come across users that have made an enormous impact on my ability to be successful. @Haejin cryto analyses are worth a shot if you haven't checked him out already. His insights and predictions are usually spot on, and taking his advice has been one of the best decisions that I have made so far since joining steemit. I also wanted to take this time to thank @buttcoins for reaching out to me in the early beginnings of my time here and giving me some great tips on how to be successful in moving forward. I greatly appreciate your guidance because at first I was a little overwhelmed and had absolutely no idea what was going on in the slightest.

I am currently a college student attending The Ohio State University where I study Environmental Public Health. This very unique major encompasses a large array of career opportunities, but I ultimately aspire to be a traveling Epidemiologist. I hope to make a positive impact on people's lives, for the better, just as I hope to do here on this platform. If I can do just that, then I know I have fulfilled what I have set out to accomplish. I have always been focused on achieving my goals, not just for myself, but for the good of those who are around me. While focusing on yourself is vitally important in terms of self improvement, it is impossible to achieve optimum personal growth without seeking wisdom and knowledge from others who surround you, which is why steemit is such an amazing place and I can achieve just that.

Just in these few short weeks that I have been involved on and around steemit, I have noticed significant personal growth because all of you have allowed for me to expand my overall horizons and outlook pertaining to particular topics. For this, I thank all of you for giving me the wonderful opportunity to learn and to grow. Without everyone that is here, it would be, not impossible, but much more difficult to do so. I am very excited to see where this journey takes me and I cannot wait to see what lies ahead, as we formulate this path with creative imaginations together.

In my remaining time here on steemit, I really want to make a difference and post content that can be of value to all of you. We are all likely here for similar reasons- to help one another, form a movement, lead those who come after us and carve out a stepping stone that will ultimately lead us into our bright and boundless futures which remain ahead. So what do you say guys- let's together- form a movement and help one another achieve what we have set out to do on this everlasting journey.
