Hi Steemians! I'm Cristina :)

How I got here?!...

About three weeks ago I heard a tweet from my Twitter account that I made it only to stay in touch with the crypto news and other decentralized blockchain based projects that are being developed.

To be or not to be

I remember that my first thought was: "oh another start-up project but what stage are they? maybe they do a ICO campaign"...but  NO!!!...I could not believe that this thing called "steem" is actually up and running! This thing is ALIVE! Is this possible to be?!!!...The...[pause for the sacred word]...The Killer App!!!...the fulfillment of THE PROPHECY that say (in my vivid imagination): "it will come a time when mass will adopt decentralized applications and live in...in a same world but in different way". Suddenly a new me emerge: "the believer"! I then sent the believer to bed, download the white paper and start reading. That convinced me to stay around and observe what happens. Meanwhile I start mining with my laptop just to see how it works and then buy some steem from bittrex at highest historical price of course. Finally I decided to do my first post today.

work in progress...

About me:

I was born 28 years ago in a small, quiet town near the Romanian capital, Bucharest. Nowadays nothing special about my hometown, Targoviste, except his rich history including also that Targoviste was the capital of Wallachia ruled by the historical figure Vlad III also called by the name Vlad the Impaler the prototype of mythical Dracula. If you ever plan to visit Romania take time to visit Targoviste especially if your trip is on June because then in every year a medieval festival take place. For 4 days people instead staying home in front of their computers like normal healthy humans, they got out all day on the streets, dress up and behave like several hundred years ago...so exciting for those who appreciate the "good old times". Not for me. I just give thanks for this times when I use my sword only when I want to open a tin in a epic way. By da way, I have a costume too but it is a pirate one and they told me to not show my face with it.

Now back in my early days of life on this planet, my parents told me that my name is Cristina and I believe them. As a young child and moreover as teenager I didn't had a particularly passion or interest in anything. Only one thing I was kind of addicted...reading. In generally I was open to read any genre but particularly attracted to philosophy, autobiography/biography/memoir, theater, staff related to history of religions. In the meantime my mom tried to guide me towards different human activities but without success...my face express just one deep felling: not fucking interested. Finally she left me in peace and because she knew how much I love to read she sincerely recommends me: "The mercy guide, Klingon edition". Once again I believed her and ask where I can find that book... I was a nice child.

I graduated from University of Economics with a degree in Economics and Management Information Systems, next years I work in the finance department of a private company in Bucharest. That was a time when I truly understood every day more and more one simple fact: something has to change in the financial system. I couldn't stay to watch how every common, simple and clear things are drawn into an old foggy financial system.  After a couple of years I felt it wise for me to get out of this area, at least for a while.

But what the hell should I do next? I was passionate about only not starving to death. Then I remembered that over time, several people have told me I would be a good psychologist. I start analyzing this potential and I realized that I would fit into it. And I wasn't wrong. I joined the faculty of psychology. I finished the first year with excellent results without much effort. I don't have to struggle learning. I knew most of what is taught, I have already read about it. Everything was great. In the second half of the 2nd year of study I chose to quit. Too many boring silly stuff out there for me. Once again I felt that dense fog that makes simple obvious things looks like something very complicated.

A time for clarity simplicity and transparency at personal level and then in all areas that we know

This blockchain technology with its vast application possibilities and its many potential uses could change the world, and it will. If the people are ready to change or not we will see. This platform is a good way to observing the mass consciousness for each and every one.

The man with the magic lemonade

If he had not done it in front of me I would have thought to put something strange in my lemonade. It was not just delicious, more than that it suddenly makes me happy. I thought what a wonderful way to serve people...but not only with a very carefully prepared drink, because of course I had drunk many good tasty lemonade in my life. There must be something else, but what?!  Oh, I GOT IT!!:

I went there today to have another magic smoothie and I had the idea to steemit it the place that fully deserves.

Steem on Sister!

I wasn't sure if you were aware but you've got a crazy man in your house!!!

Romania? I love to see Simona plays tennis. I was able to see her in Singapore couple of years ago in WTA. Hopes she comes again.

Upvoted and welcome!

Thank you, bitcoiner!

welcome to steemit :-)

Cool introduction! and welcome to another block-chain enthusiast! :)

In the darth vader pic it says presents instead of presence, not sure if on purpose. :P

Welcome Cristina! Look forward to your thoughts on economics and psychology. :)

thank you! I will definitely post but not so often. It takes me a long time to write considering that I have not practiced lately English :))

Fascinating post! I'm glad you have arrived. This was my favorite line of yours: "But what the hell should I do next? I was passionate about only not starving to death" Hilarious and tragic at the same time....

Thank you stellabelle :))

Welcome aboard...!

(the first paragraph is written twice - you can edit it to cut the second one)

It appears ok to me...anyway I'm still trying to figure out how to edit...

only in front of the police you must prove your identity :)) if you feel that what I share with you is fake then it's ok, this thing of proving your existence on and on it makes you lose the essence of the message itself. Thank you for comment!
