RE: Hello, My Name Is...Singer, Banker, Homesteader, What?!?

From the look of your posts, I wouldn't say you're behind us at all! I wish we lived closer. Always nice to chat with fellow red-pill free thinkers.

I partially meant behind you because our twins are only 8 months! Haven't quite started the home schooling yet. ;)

They do like to be read books already though. They also like to chew on them...

Ah... yes. Mine are 11, 8, 5 & 2. The oldest was reading at 3. She was a complete book nut! Turning pages in a magazine at 8 months old and never ripped a page! My next two, well, they made up for it in being less than gentle with their books. 🤣 Although they do love being read to, they're into math more than reading, so we're just going with the flow. The two year old is starting to repeat each page that is read to him just like my oldest did, so it will be interesting to see what comes of it.

We did find a baby book that is a washable non-toxic tear-proof paper so the kids can chew on them, crumple them and you can totally wash them. Have you seen them?

I haven't seen them. We have some that are made of cloth. For some reason they like the paper ones more though!

We had a few fabric books and the kids didn't care for them either. I think they liked the feel and sound of paper. The crinkliness... Anyway, here are the Indestructible books, although I wouldn't buy them at this price. I know I've seen them in store for as little as $2- on sale. They're very slim and lightweight so they don't take up much space.

Thank You, I will have a look and share with Aimee.
