Hello.

Before curating, have you done due diligence and verified if it is not identity deception/theft?

No, I do not investigate every post that I curate and I do support a lot of newbies. Some of course have bad intentions and when I find out I mute them. But I will not treat every newbie with suspicion.

I have invited several people to Hive, all of them left, for two main reasons:

  1. lack of support
  2. being downvoted and falsely accused of plagiarism

To scare off dozens of newbies to find one culprit is not acceptable. I know people who have been severely hurt by false accusations.

Identity theft is a serious abuse on Hive. Actually, it is also a criminal offence by law.
The above post seems to have used identity of a vulnerable woman.
By supporting it, you support and help the criminal.

Could you please provide us with links to the posts where we commented with invalid investigations about plagiarism?

Identity theft is a serious crime, so is false accusations, I oppose any type of crime and I would mute any such user as soon as he / she has been proven guilty.

I do not have any links now, but the false accusations, that I have mentioned have NOT been made by your account.

I just try to be very newbie-friendly and that includes upvoting users with a low reputation.
However, payouts happen after a week, so if a culprit has been found he can be downvoted before that.

To find a culprit it is necessary to investigate and collect proofs, which is a completely different task than curating the content per se, for which I use the ecency app on the phone. Investigation requires another set of tools, preferably on a computer.

I think community mods should keep their community clean, so they should investigate their members.
Volunteers should pick random posts and investigate and gently clarify issues with a user and use offensive actions only as a last resort.

At the moment I only concentrate on curating the content, but in the future, when this account grows I plan to offer some bounties for those who want some extra-income hunting evildoers.

Also, besides obviously stolen photos, the post was evidently generated by AI.
A quick glance at the writing makes it obvious.
It seems that you have not even bothered reading the post but just clicked on the post and spammed it with the comment to promote your activity.

This is what is called false accusations...

Just because the account posts an intro with photos of a woman, it does not automatically mean that it is legit. Considering the amount of abuse around, it is rather likely that it is not so it would be rather logically advisable not to curate until the account proves to be legit.

The main reason why scammers create such posts and accounts is exactly because of mindless curation (manual or automated). They create them to fish this type of curation.

There are plenty of new users that have verified themselves and are worth curating instead,
