Greetings all, my nom de guerre is Dare to Defy that fans, friends and allies shorten to D2D or just simply Dare. I’m a dedicated online researcher and crime investigator, due to the volatile nature of this often thankless work. I prefer to work anonymously for operational security reasons which I carried out for scores of years now behind the scenes. I shun the spotlight and I’ve collaborated and exchanged high value, sourced evidence rich case data with online personalities on X/Twitter and beyond. I have a skill and tenacious reputation for finding hidden, abandoned and lost information, evidence, crimes and criminals. I’ve been dubbed by friends and associates as a bloodhound who gets whatever he’s after no matter where the dominoes fall.
I have recently joined the Hive community and am working to acclimate to this bold and brilliant platform of diverse and soul-rich, genuine minds. Meeting elevating people around the globe sharing their lives, joys, heartaches, dreams and aspirations is exciting new frontier. The citizens of Hive are inviting, alive and creatively productive from my experience and observations so far. It feels like more of a genuine community rather than a social gathering on a main-stream censored platform dominated with degenerative divisive content, agenda driven grifting and atrocity promotion for profit. The denizens here appear to support one another, fostering and hosting lively and thrilling content to the table to satisfy every taste and fancy. I’m pleased to have found this new home and to virtually meet the acquaintance of the vast sea of creators here. I look forward to the future positive collaborations and exchanges.
I fiercely believe in and am a citizen empowerment, freedom and self-determination advocate for all around the globe. I believe in tribes like those of old that worked famously and that tribes of high-code people are the true way back to a sustainable elevated manner of living and life. I believe we all rise when we mindfully raise up others with unconditional support and display the innate caring and love that we were all born with. It’s our sacred duty to perform these uplifting acts as it is our mission as fellow students here in what I refer to as Earth School.
Who in the world is this guy?
I’m a feral, and independent man of principles with a strong code and credo, that I don’t break for anybody. I am strongly aligned to reality and engage in the work of self-discovery and healing, I accept who I am now and do strive to do better in service to myself and others. I fancy and have studied martial arts from the Chinese and Japanese schools of Gung Fu and Bushido disciplines to be exact. I study and practise eastern and traditional medicines as well as transcendental metaphysical reconnection to the godly Divine. In addition to being a gardener and micro-farmer raising healthy and nourishing medicinal and restorative edible vegetation.
I am a quality film fan and film production student who has literally seen tens of thousands of US and international films and my particular favourites are the old German Expressionist silent films of F.W. Murnau and Fritz Lang as well as modern Korean and Hindi dramas and action films. To me it’s the story that drives and compels the viewer and the acting is especially imperative in selling the key story. Both must be in harmonious accord or it NEVER works and falls apart very quickly and all else if successful is the decoration and icing to top that deliciously expressive cake. Character development is also supremely important, because if you care nothing for the characters and their welfare and they are not compelling in any way, you have lost the interest of your audience. This is filmmaking 101 that is violated with shocking regularity in modern cinema and comic book media. I’m also an avid vintage film, art deco, vintage comic book and pulp magazine enthusiast, enthralled with the grand age of the early 1930’s. If there’s anything from that bygone era and the Flapper age of the late 1920’s that I discover, it immediately peaks my keen interest. I traditionally studied and trained artist in the illustrative content production field of art. In addition, I’m an eloquent, non-fiction and fiction writer and collaborative independent journalist ever pursuing justice and legitimate truth.
Personally, I’m a low-key, private, no-nonsense, jocular, unruly yob who doesn’t play nice with predator class sub-humans, thugs, bullies, counterfeit human beings, sham larkers, humanity imposters and fake tough guys. Contrast all that with a Yin side of a relaxed, gregarious, fun-loving, accessible man who relishes uplifting and remarkable communicative exchanges with people of high character and self-value. I’m a grand enthusiast of life and living in its best, most authentically organic state. You only get one turn round this incarnation so you’d best make the best use of enjoying the natural things that bring you elevating joy to behold and experience.

Growing up in a British household in NYC made me parts traditional and proper yet also unconventionally American. A very unique combination and when people ask me what that’s like I tell them it’s like being part rowdy Jimmy Cagney and part “The Saint” from the old Roger Moore telly series. Then, there's yet another part of me that is very amenable and Zen-like healer who can read people and their challenges quite well, if that provides an accurate character description. Despite the seemingly quirky and wild contradiction, it all gels and works harmoniously well I can assure you. Best as I can tell you is I’m an analog man in a digital world trying to best navigate a treacherous world.
