Hi, for those of you who don't know me from Steemit, my name is Deb.
I enjoy blogging, writing, gaming, photography and taking long walks with my husband. We mainly like to walk around the various state parks here in Indiana. But we also enjoy walking around the water canal in downtown Indianapolis and the various parks in the city.
I'm the mother of two adult children. We lost their father to Melanoma Skin Cancer in 2001. We miss him very much but know he isn’t in pain anymore and that has brought us peace in dealing with it.
I started dating my husband, Jon, in 2006 and I have enjoyed every minute of our time together. I love the kids dad with all of my heart but I am sure Jon is my soul mate.
As far as gaming goes, I like a variety of games. Minecraft, 7 Days To Die, Killing Floor 1 & 2, World Z, Banished, Oxygen Not Included, The Forest, Planet Zoo and I hope to try out Raft as soon as I can figure out how to cast that damn hook. lol I do stream occasionally on Twitch and you can find that link below if interested.
For those of you who are into it, I consider myself to be an empath and I have experienced some paranormal stuff over my lifetime. I have not posted about it in awhile but the occasional post may pop up.
If you are not into it, I respect that and want that same respect in return. :)
While I have your attention, is there a trick to uploading pictures to a post here on Hive? Every time I try, I get an error, even when I resize the photo.

Terrific photos Deb!! I posted through PeakD cause I couldn't get photos to load directly from here. Goodness knows if I'll remember how to do it tomorrow...Been at this for hours..lol. It's still new so I suspect it will get easier though. Hope you have an awesome weekend! : )

I like your taste in games. I can spend hours upon hours in Banished and Minecraft. And I need to try some 7 Days 2 Die again soon! I haven't played it since... an Alpha waaaaay back. Would be spiffy to see what's changed since then. 🙂

I'm down with your paranormal experiences and wouldn't mind hearing more about them. I've gad a long history of experiencing the paranormal too. I grew up in a house that had certified poltergeist activity. Saw in one occasion what for a lack of a better term I'd call a wraith or shadowman and even a few ufos.
As for other common interests my fiance and i are both gamers. You mentioned minecraft and that brings up fond memories of building hidden underground villages and bases with clues for my son to follow to find them in minecraft when hed get home from school.
Following your posts and look forward to hearing more about any of those paranormal experiences.

I have not seen UFOs but its easier for me to believe that we are not alone, than that we are in this big universe alone.
I've lived in a could of houses where ghosts made themselves known to me. Even my current house, although its seemed to go quiet after I joked during a live stream that it was a boring ghost. I may have hurt its feelings. lol
One of my favorite minecraft memories is being able to play on servers with my son after he moved away for college. It's a great way to connect with our kids for sure!

Hi Deb! Lovely writeup. I use peakd connect to post on hive. I couldn’t load photos or see wallet otherwise.
I went to peakd and was left confused.I need to take more time to look into it. I am able to load photo's into posts now but I am not able to see my wallet as of yet.
