My name is Devika (Dee) and I’m from London, U.K.
I have recently started blogging about my journey through IVF. I have been happily married for ten years to the love of my life, we met at 17 years old and have been together ever since.
We have both wanted children and discussed it very early in but we have not been lucky enough to have any yet, that will soon be changing with the help of IVF!
I have four dogs and a cat who I absolutely adore and I care for my husband (who has a degenerative spinal condition) and also his mum (who lives with us and suffers with COPD).
I write my blog as it’s a way for me to keep a record of how it’s been going through IVF and hopefully I will be able to show my future child how they came to be and how hard we worked to bring them into the world. It’s also a great way for me to share my experiences with others who are going through IVF. I have found that although there is a lot of information online about IVF, I wasn’t able to find any personal experiences.

Four dogs and a cat!! Oh my...my stepdaughter's cat is enough for us (when he visits anyway)... I grew up raised by women, and my grandparents were all in pretty bad health. So I know about hospitals, nursing homes, and yes...funeral homes. It is important I feel, for children to have an understanding of what life really is...

Along with my fellow #powerhouscreatives welcome to the Steem blockchain. I am not going to add to the already good advice that my fellow steemians have given you except to suggest that you make use of https://steemd.com/@deejonivf and https://steemworld.org/@... as well as well as https://steem.supply/@.... to keep track of your payouts and resource credits (how many votes, comments and posts you can make). It is a little overwhelming to begin with and is a lot like gobbledygook, so be kind to yourself and try not to get too frustrated. I am sure many of the PHC crowd, in addition to @jaynie, myslef included will lend a hand - you will find us on Discord :D
Oh, and on my blog, you will find a relatively recent post about how long it took me to get going ;)

Welcome here! An up close glimpse into IVF sounds interesting. Are you nervous at all about the potential to have multiple children (maybe 8) through IVF? I really don't know much about the different processes, but I know that in the past unexpected multiples were a common occurrence.
