Hello everyone! I'm thrilled to share my journey into the fascinating world of generative art, a realm where technology meets creativity. As someone deeply interested in technology and AI, I've been captivated by the rapid advancements in this field, especially in how AI can create visually stunning artworks that blur the lines between the digital and the real.
My First Steps in Generative Art
My adventure began with creating images using generative art techniques, focusing initially on photorealism. The progress in AI over the past few months has been nothing short of astounding. Nowadays, it's becoming increasingly difficult for an average viewer to distinguish between AI-generated images and actual photographs. However, the quirky imperfections, like unexpected extra hands or missing limbs, add a unique challenge to the creations, giving one a chance to correct the image.
Diving Deeper with Free Online Services
While there are numerous platforms available for creating AI art, I've gravitated towards using free services. Although Midjourney offers impressive capabilities, I've found that other platforms can also produce high-quality outputs. This accessibility allows more people to experiment with and enjoy the possibilities of AI art without financial barriers. I particularly use NightCafe and Limewire to generate my images online.
My Preferred Tool: Stable Diffusion
Among the various tools I've experimented with, Stable Diffusion stands out as my favorite. Its open-source nature means it's freely accessible, which aligns perfectly with my ethos of sharing and creativity. The community around Stable Diffusion is vibrant and innovative, continually pushing the boundaries of what AI can create. I use Stable Diffusion on my desktop computer, even if I am only using 4GB of VRAM. Fortunately, in recent weeks, a more optimized WebUI, called Stable Diffusion Forge was released which improved speed significantly, particularly in machines on the lower VRAM range.

Building a Community on Social Media
I've taken my passion to social media, where I manage a Facebook page with over 5,000 followers and a Facebook group with more than 2,000 members. These platforms have become a thriving community where enthusiasts share their AI-generated artworks, exchange tips, and inspire each other. This interaction not only enriches our collective knowledge but also fosters a supportive environment for creators at all levels.
Future Aspirations: From Digital to Physical
Looking ahead, I plan to extend my digital creations into the physical world through a print-on-demand store. This venture will allow me to transform AI-generated images into tangible products, making art accessible in new and exciting ways. I am exploring ways do a print-on-demand business and weighing between Printify and Printful being a print-on-demand provider. It is very rewarding to see one's design being put into a useful product like shirts, or mugs, even on a wall clock.
Engaging with the Hive Community
I am eager to dive deeper into the Hive network, a platform renowned for its active community. My goal is to actively participate and contribute by sharing my AI creations, including the prompts and models used. I found this community by @pixaroma where I hope to publish my creations and share what I know. Additionally, I look forward to providing tutorials on generative AI, particularly focusing on Stable Diffusion and its extensive features. For my creations, I have two main blog ideas in mind, which I plan to make it to a series of posts. First is thematic - I will present a theme (e.g. food, nature, etc.) then I will share various images related to the theme. The second one is more of model comparison. From a single prompt, I will post images generated by that prompt using various Stable Diffusion models.
As I continue to explore the intersection of AI and art, I am excited about the endless possibilities and the new dimensions of creativity that AI opens up. I invite you all to join me on this journey, whether by following my social media pages, joining our discussions on Hive, or simply experimenting with your own AI-generated art. Let's push the boundaries of creativity together!
Here are some of the image I created using Stable Diffusion.

Yeehaw! This here blog post is like a breath of fresh air on a prairie morning! Embrace the beauty of technology and creativity with generative art, partner. Keep blazing that trail and inspiring others with your AI creations! Stay true to your roots and keep spreading that creative spirit far and wide on the Hive network, cowboy!
Thank you for your kind words.
Rest easy, cowboy. Your words are like a cool breeze on a hot day, refreshing and welcome. Keep sharing your stories under that big sky.
Are you also going to write something down on your own, or is this profile going to be 100% AI?
I will, especially with the tutorials as I am including screenshots on my own desktop on how I do things. For the images, while they are generated by AI, I still do post-processing work, aside from improving my prompts by testing them continuously until I get what I wanted. Thanks for the feedback.
