Advice From My Pain To New Steemjans

in #introduceyourself7 years ago (edited)

As a newbie in steemit, lots of things happen to you from your first post with 10$ to those post which never get a comment or upvote but has 170 views and you just hold your phone thinking about what you did wrong
Lots of things happen which actually make you feel like you are but a mere gravel in this big building and community of people.
As a new steembie one mistake I made was to seek for influence too early, it's like walking into a room filled with nuns with a naked body and then expecting them to look at you and clap, that being said I have been on steemit for 2 weeks now and the way they told me it was rosy wasn't the way it turned out to be.

My brother @lovestories just joined recently and he has accomplished what i took 2 weeks and I also see him have some blank post ( I mean post that have no comment or likes just mere post) but I later log in to see him dropping another post similar to the one that has no like.
I actually don't understand why but I think now I do from the post of most people I have observed.
Let me highlight them.

CONTENT
Some of the whales here I have seen like @haegin, @surpassinggoggle, @themarkymark etc have a special and non negotiable area of what they talk about and they make sure when ever you read or participate in their contest. Their content is widespread and known by all.
They make sure when you read their status, you instantly know what they offer on their blog. You don't read their post and see other stuffs except what they do for real.

FOCUS
Now this is the tricky part, regardless of their falls and highs they don't sway. They just still hold on and keep writing and spewing, in this category I see @blogtrovert as a typical example, am loyal fan to her blog and I love how her post are given.

FORMING A GENUINE RELATIONSHIP
When I joined steemit, the moment I read some status I felt people who were forcing me into their life and I felt some who were ushering me into theirs. The difference is so huge that when I see that post of the later I just view scroll through and then I move to the next and I feel 😍 cajoled to know more so I follow.
All these and more are the things I have observed and seen as the reason why I can drop a post and get 4 upvotes and 1 comment and 170 views. But I won't quit though.!!!
