Hello steemians, my name is Ifeoluwa Adediran from Nigeria, West Africa. I was born in 1994 and presently studying physical therapy in the university of Ibadan.
I am a writer, motivational speaker and an entrepreneur.
I knew about steemit through my roommate in school, on that fateful day. My friend was at the Alumni center on campus using wifi when two ladies politely asked for his phone to check their Gmail account.
It was through those ladies he knew about steemit and brought the goodnews home around January this year.
Due to my lack of a good mobile phone, I couldn't join the community as at that period, so I was saving every penny on me to get a smart phone ,so I can join the steemit community. Here I am today, hoping to making friends and gain insight on how this platform works. I will be happy posting frequently here and getting positive response from everyone.
Glad to be on this platform.
Hello, Ifeoluwa, and Welcome to Steemit.
As a writer, you'll find Steemit to be a great platform for your musings. It not only provides a fantastic pre-fab site, it also gives you a ready audience that will appreciate high-quality material. Oh, and it provides a healthy dose of motivation ... in the form of Steem!
Below are a few basic points of advice re posting on Steemit.
1 – Longer posts are more lucrative than short posts. If you make a post of 20–30 paragraphs, it's more likely to earn rewards.
2 – Include some photos, images or graphs, to complement the text.
3 – Make sure the text and photos are formatted properly, so that your post looks attractive and appealing.
4 – Be yourself.
5 – Be interesting and informative.
6 – Create quality content. Steemit is intended to be a platform of quality content. (You will see many insignificant posts with meager content and no quality. Most of those of posts [called “shitposts” by Steemit whale Stellabelle] will earn few rewards and soon pass into oblivion.)
7 – Get online and start curating. Read various posts, comment on those posts you find interesting, and upvote those posts. That’s the best way to attract followers.
Hope this helps for now. Good luck, and Full Steem Ahead!

We are excited to see you join us here! Steemit is a remarkable platform that is built to reward users for creating quality content. Its a logic called proof of brain.
As for TechChat, think of us as DJs that create tech content instead of music. We create content by looking for the most shocking, interesting, and exciting breakthroughs in the tech space. Basically - we do all the research so you don't have to.
We hope to hear your opinion on TechChat’s content! We always love to hear from our community.
Happy Steeming 🚀
Egbon, welcome. You need to do something about your tags though.

Welcome to Steem Community @drifead! As a gentle reminder, please keep your master password safe. The best practise is to use your private posting key to login to Steemit when posting; and the private active key for wallet related transactions.
In the New Steemians project, we help new members of steem by education and resteeeming their articles. Get your articles resteemed too for maximum exposure. You can learn more about it here: https://steemit.com/introduceyourself/@gaman/new-steemians-project-launch
