I once invited my friends to join steemit, but they even made fun of me. But I never despair to invite them.
I think a good response to their laughter would be more laughter from yourself then go into explaining to them how they post on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and just help make somebody rich with their content where you are joining a monetized social media built on blockchain technology with their very own cryptocurrencies moving into the future and getting paid for your content, only a fool would laugh at you!
