My adventure into steemit, and the unlimited joy.

Hello! Steemit community,I am Edwin,I I was intoarnt and also observed that part of the protocols in the community for new comers is first a formal introduction,in adherence to the constituted protocols.
Steemit, was brought to my notice on November of 2017 as a platform for creative and reasonable writters and also a community for the media addicts to rightly turn their media habit to something more resourceful and finance fetching.
I got to know about steemit through a very good friend who the community 've helped in a tremendous way,financially.@chidiebere was very very instrumental as a friend to make sure I made it to this wonderful community of intellectuals,at a time the registration process was confusing to me but he kept on giving wonderful directives and instruction, through the help of @Euronation which I'm very very grateful to,for their support and wonderful encouragement.my being here was made possible by@chidiebere and @euronation.20180116_143829.jpg

My name is Edwin Maduakor,I'm aged 31years,I'm a black African from a weste African country(Nigeria).
I was born on the the 4th day of August 1987 to the family of Mr Edwin Maduakor who is a retired shell petroleum worker and a successful businessman, growing up was very difficult and tough,my father is married to two wives and as a typical African family, whatever comes to the family is always been divided into two amongst the two wives.
It was a very difficult situation for young promising me then.but my father will always say to us that we are not poor, that the only thing we don't have is money for a luxurious lifestyle, but for education that he is ready to take us to any length.this statement of his inculcated in us that the only way to survive was to face our books and study like our lives depends on it.FB_IMG_1509568079468.jpg

After it was very clear to the family that the only accepted trade was education for all and nothing more nothing less,I was supposed to start my primary education at the village central school because there was no nursery school education present in my village then, this was happening in 1990,I was aged three and my father was very worried that I was growing and and still had no idea of what formal education was,I was always concerned about playing and following my mother around.
During the summer of that very year ,my mum took me to the central school to be registers in primary 1,the practice then was ,for a person to start primary one your hand must be able to cross over your head and touch your ear on the other side of the head, that was the standard,I tried but mine touched slightly and I was admitted, that was my first day in a class of learning ,after my Monther paid the required fees for a new pupil, she left me in the class and went home,i was scared and shivering,I jumped out of the windowless classroom and before my mun could get home I was in the house already I raced from the central school till i got home. The next day my sister's forced me back to school that I must be educated, from that day I made a friend who bears the same name with me, that was the first thing I found interesting about school,I started attending without being forced.

I was very very dumb I couldn't recite the alphabets Or read the numbers.I was mocked and laughed at.When my father returned home from the city, he noticed my poor performance and decided to take me to the city to attend a good school not the village central school anymore,I was very very happy but on the other hand I was very very sad because I was about to miss my loving sisters,I got to the city and I was registered in a very expensive school,I saw rich kids and I was among the poor kids, but like my father rightly told us,all we can get is education to any level, most of these kids were trained with English language, they hardly speak our local dialect(igbo),but for me English language was like climbing mount Everest,at the end of the term my report card showed I was 37/37 in the class.
My father was very very disappointed,he reminded me what he went through to register me in one of the best schools in the city, the money he spent and how I rubbed him on the mud after all his effort, there and then he handed me over to a female teach to keep an eye on me,that was a miraculous turn around I'm my academic life, this woman fixed extra moral classes for me every day and whenever I fail a question she will so Cain me to bleeding ,from that point I started being very very serious I learnt to read ,I learnt arithmetic,I was able to communicate in English language a little though my grammar was always very wrong ,when I got to elementary four,I was very very stable then, when I got to primary six i was amongst the best four in my class,I took an exam to attend a federal government established and subsidised school and I passed at a sitting,my father started being proud of me but will always task me to be the best in the class, that I must do whatever the best student do to better than him and that I must remember the best student does not have an extra brain attached to him, that I must use my brain like or better the best student .

I progressed to the senior secondary school,I was a boarder living in the hostels,we normally have marathon academic terms ,we go three months without a brake ,when it was time to chose a career I chosed that I would like to be a lawyer but my father choose otherwise ,that I should study civil engineering, after a long battle,I stood my ground and he refused to pay my school fees for the first term and later changed his mind to support me,in no distance time it was time to write exams to gain admission into the university,it was a strong battle the first one I wrote I was offered admission to study estate management and not law,i was very determined to be a lawyer,I accepted the administration and I wrote the entrance exam again and was admitted to study law in one of the best law faculties in the country.

A NEW PHASE OF MY LIFE.

My university life as a law student was never a bed of roses the harsh academic standard required of an aspirant to be a lawyer, was very tasking, the bulk work and the fear of failure was very very scary, after a marathon 5years of study I was posted to Nigerian law school situated in Lagos state Nigeria, this was the first law school established in Nigeria,I got to law school with high hopes and aspirations,I was Very ready to accomplish my goal and to crown my parents with joy and happiness, the entire family really supported me with everything.
The nature of study in the law school was entirely different from what the study of law used to be in the university,it was very clear to to me then that I was in for a real professional training.lectures run from Monday to Friday and intensive reading follows in the weekend, the nature of the program is that you study for 9months and write only one exam on the 10th month after a court and chamber training.
By the grace of God the exam came I wrote and passed and was called to the prestigious Nigerian bar.IMG-20170804-WA0002.jpgreceived_1605503269489081.jpegreceived_1605503126155762.jpeg

My career as a lawyer 've been very promising, the profession have really brought me to a place I've really longed to be,it gives a separate joy to see that people are entrusting their life on you or their property to you. After 2months of my call to the bar I got my first brief.and since then I can beat my chest that I've been doing veer well for myself.IMG_20170829_094155-2.jpgIMG-20170725-WA0005.jpgIMG-20170910-WA0002.jpg

In conclusion I must admit that I'm very happy to be a part of the wonderful community (termite) I thank @chidiebere and @euronation for their unconditional effort to bring me here.I most delightful and very very happy to every one in the communty.
