That's quite something. As long as you're on the internet, I don't think there's a safe place from creeps. It's too easy to do it without any consequences other than getting blocked or kicked/banned. I'd say that eventually they'll probably find someone who plays along and it's like gambling. You keep playing and losing but a single win, though quite small, can make the difference to make you play more.
