Welcome to Steemit! As someone who has only been here a week I can tell you there are a lot of wonderful people on this platform. A lot of people here have no clue where they want end up in life. All they do know is for this moment they have Steemit to call home, and a place to share those random deep thoughts that they have over-analyzing hundreds of times over.
Thanks @enjar! I am enjoying steemit so far! Now I just need to make time for my much anticipated follow up post (story/blog). My 16 followers are waiting at the tip of their seats! ..not really though I'm sure *cue laugh track.
