Personally I am not really a fan of visual pornography, I have always preferred things that stir my imagination. I talk about sexual stuff a lot; I write about it; I even advocate for your right to watch or do whatever you want sexually, of course while considering the interest of others. But I’m not into visual porn myself.
Personally, I find visual porn kind of limiting. I personally believe words can be used to express imagery on a level where visualizing digitally cannot attain. My erotic imagination is simultaneously vast and it feels to me like videos are just too two dimensional. They put the image and action in front of your face and that's pretty much it, no expansion of imagination, no stiring. The same thing continues to happen until either it ends or you switch over to something different. This isn’t however an attempt to depict that visual porn isn’t arousing. I am only human and sexual images of course have their effects on my senses. But I just prefer written erotica to visual porn, I think majorly because it lets my imagination roam wherever, whenever and wherever way it wants to. I can browse through really fast, slowly move back and forth between the lines that draw my interest, imagine the characters, the plot and settings any way I want because when these erotic thoughts are put in writing, the range possibilities embedded are without limits.
I do write my own erotic stories and quotes every now and then. Some are pure fantasy, some have their roots in reality (maybe), reflecting my own sexual tastes and fantasies. The erotica I write is varied in theme, depending on the mood I’m in or which particular thought has inspired me at the particular time I am writing.
The dream is to create an erotica blog for readers, writers, and everyone in between. Come along and see what the fuss is all about.

Yes, I kind of agree about the difference between the visual and the written. Although I do admit, once in a while, I stream some porn just for base amusement.
I've posted a bit of my erotica on steemit. A new post every week or so. I've slowed down a bit. I'm trying for quality.
