Difficult to answer the question "Who are you?" and answer in a few lines ...
Since I changed my life, I always more often have to answer this question and every time I try to contextualize as much as possible my introduction with respect to the situation and context in which I am. In a few lines, I will try to introduce each of my faces...
The reflection on who I am is a reflection that has tormented me for about a year. Now that I feel free, I can hardly give a limited answer.
For years of my life, it was really easy ... When someone asked me "Who are you?" I answered: "I am a surveyor, I work on the project of the Milan metro line 5 construction".
And there ended the description, because usually the question "who are you?" is confused with "what's your job?"
But... if I have to tell who I was and who I am today including who I was in the middle, then wow! The description could go on for days ... 🙃
In the first place, I'm Italian 🇮🇹, so please be lenient for my bad English. I'm trying to improve my English, and writing posts I hope will help me to improve my writing skills and expand my vocabulary. (if there are any errors, please tell me!)
For years I've been a Muay Thai (Thai boxing) athlete and instructor, I think that deep passion has been at the center of my life for more than 10 years. During the years in which I played, I trained 5/6 times a week for hours every day and when I became an instructor and I created my team [Time of Glory] (https://web.facebook.com/TimeOfGloryMuayThai/) I was teaching with even crazier rhythms.MY FIRST WEDDING
At only 23 years old I decided to marry for the first time! after only 9 months from the beginning of a relationship with who was at the time a friend of mine, 6 years older than me ...
After 4 years, we understood that we were better as friends, and we are still friends 👏
During the years of my first marriage, I spent all my free time between the gym and photography 📷workshops. I was really into photography, and I have to admit that even if I'm not so active anymore, I'm still keen.

Let's go on holiday and ...
A few months after the separation, I left for a trip with a friend. We traveled backpacking around Thailand. During that vacation, I met the woman who is my wife today.
Lucky is a beautiful woman, strong and capable.
After the wedding, we lived for 2 years in Italy, where I continued to work as a surveyor and she worked in a restaurant as well as creating in the spare time some excellent bamboo handicrafts.
[Qualche suo lavoro] (https://www.facebook.com/LuckyArtCraft/)
We got married with the clear idea that we wanted to live in Thailand, but we would have put some money aside by working in Italy, before moving on.
After a short period, we realized that it would be really difficult to save up some money. The cost of living, compared to salaries ... I do not know in other countries, but in Italy, we were on par.
At this point, it is better to leave as soon as possible! ✈️
April 2017 - The Idea!
Lucky and I are both nature and animals lovers. So we start to think that her parents in Isaan (the North East region of Thailand) have a lot of lands and that they use it to grow only rise.
So we start to think, yes why not! We will build there our house, start to grow our own food... breed animals... we will not die!
During that days, I was reading "The 4-Hour Workweek" a Timothy Ferris book, and I have to say that he encouraged me to change so much!
June 2017 - Lucky's departure
It was the second half of June 2017, we had the idea and we were meditating and studying the steps to be able to transfer, but we had not decided anything yet ... When Lucky receives a phone call from Thailand, she had a bereavement in the family, an aunt whom we had seen a few months before and who seemed to be in good health ...
In a few minutes we had bought the plane ticket and after 2 days we said goodbye.
At that point I was alone in Italy, we had made a one-way ticket and probably unknowingly something in our brain was already taken.
I spent my free time studying, designing our project. At that time I worked a lot at night, then I could not sleep much during the day and so I spent a lot of time researching. One day while surfing the internet, I came across a blog that talks about natural constructions with straw. I was surprised and fascinated. They published a course that starts within a few days, I enrolled immediately and after a few days, I left.
Wonderful days! Really!
At the course I had met wonderful people, with fascinating ideas, illuminating ways of seeing the world. For the first time, I had heard about Permaculture. In August a course would start on the Tuscany hills.
After 18 days in Tuscany, the equation was settled. I called Lucky, wait there! I close everything that is closed and I reach you!
See you next episode 😁😁😁
As an introduction of myself, I think that I have dwelt enough ... 😁The rest... as I spent this year in Thailand, the experiences, the meetings, the project... I will tell you in the next posts!
BIG HUG
