I been on Steemit for a few weeks now and it is really hard to get "upvotes" unless you have hundreds or thousands of followers. It all kinda reminds me of a popularity contest, however it is way better than facebook, and Youtube! The censorship on Youtube is insane and Steemit blows it away. I never had a twitter account so I'm not sure what that's like. I really hope Steemit grows and gets better along the way. I think I'll be on here for a while and maybe I can influence some on facebook to join me. I am very happy to have a platform like Steemit, where like minded individuals can come together to share ideas and thoughts without the censorship police removing comments and giving out strikes!!!!
