Hi everyone I'm Vanessa, I'm 33 years old and I stay in South Africa. So Steemit is definitely making it's way around the world.
I'm currently working on a Platinum mine as an Automation technician, studying for a degree in Human Resource Management. But the reason I'm here is because I want to share a journey with you.

Here in South Africa we have a guy called Tim Noakes who have made big news lines with the Banting diet that he has rediscovered. I'm sure some of you might have heard about it. What I would like to do is give it a run, share progress and information, maybe help a few of you who are struggling with the same issues.
I have to admit that I do have a little bit of selfish propaganda as well. Making me accountable to all of you might give me a little more willpower...

Hey, I actually have a whole introduction written, but somehow the picture canceled it all out. I'm still having a little bit of a fight with Markdown. Trying to master all the technical parts. I will probably get there but some help would be appreciated. :)
That is actually the article I wrote but I have no idea how to put my photo back without it swallowing my text. Oops. Little embarrassing.
