This is a great idea. 8% being actual daily users is really very good, a lot of places seem to have a far smaller percentage. On different platforms I have noticed that the number of actual active daily users is very very low compared to the number of accounts. That being said Steemit has a bit more of a learning curve than other platforms and is pretty bewildering and confusing at first.
Thank you. Not necessarily true, look at the big players like Facebook, Instagram etc. Facebook has 1.4 Billion DAUs! I would see a good percentage as around 15-20%.
I can't speak to facebook, I am just comparing with other comment sites like Disqus I have tried, they all seem to inflate the numbers. The would say there was a 100,000 followers for a disqus channel but then like a dozen people would make the majority of the comments.
