If I had the money, I would be getting the old consoles, but I have to settle for emulators on the PC for now. :)
You could get a Raspberry Pi and retro game for under £30 I bet! If you are ever interested I can help you out.
I could look into it next year as I might have a lot more time to play around with it. Will let you know if I do.
