Most people do at this point. Its a solid coin even if its a joke. The value spikes sometimes when the chinese buy a lot up when bitcoin crashes.

Yes and no. The coin was created as a joke but the value it provides is real. Reddit.com/r/dogecoin can probably give you more insight. I have some dogecoin myself so no worries :D
