Dear Steemit,
My name is Vil from Denmark, and I've recently been introduced to your wonderful world, blogosphere and community by a mutual friend of ours.
In the past few days whilst waiting for the authorization process to finish, I've almost been browsing here more than I do on both Facebook and Reddit.
The consistency in quality of the content posted here amazes me and being a big supporter of blockchain, decentralisation and cryptocurrencies, Steemit is definitely a community that speaks to me.
I've just graduated from a wonderful secondary school, Mahindra United World College of India, and I now work waiting tables at a wine bar and reading books (On a serious note, if you're a teenager who'd like to travel to and study in amazing places on a full scholarship, all in the name of peace and education, then google UWC/United World Colleges right now.).
In the next few years I plan on travelling and playing the sax whilst I figure out what to study. I'm incredibly overwhelmed by the plethora of topics that are explored on Steemit and I'm very excited to contribute to it. Read my stuff if you're a fellow sports enthusiast, book worm, politics nerd and music lover - We'll definitely find some common ground!
I've attached some of my favourite moody photos from travels and school below, if you'd like to check them out :)
With love and great anticipation,
Vil

Hello Vil, very nice to meet you!
Sports and music lover here too. I've been too depressed by the news here in the U.S. so I'm trying to avoid as much as possible. Welcome and good luck here on Steemit!
Thanks man, appreciate it!
I agree with you on the news in the States - I've lots of friends living there keeping me updated.
Most bad shit tends to pass though, so hopefully the orangutan won't be in office for too long!
Hahaha, love this. Yeah, hopefully not. I'm still embarrassed he was elected when anyone with common sense could see who he actually was long before election day. Take care.
Welcome to steemit community, insight, experience and knowledge banayak once here we live just how to take and learn it and you also can share anything interesting to be published in this steemit, salam know from me @teukukhaidir. thank you
cheers man! really excited about the supportiveness of the community c:
Hey! :D I wanted to ask how did you pull off that grungy look to the "Portrait before boarding train to Budapest" photo? O_o Is it a digital photo of an actual printed photo or just taken on an older cellphone/camera? Or maybe it was cleverly post-processed~ I'm confused :D
And overall the way the shot was taken is creative, weird in a way, and yet balanced, at least to my unprofessional eye~ An excellent photo indeed :D
