Hello world! Funnily enough an appropriate greeting for the occasion as well as a bit of a programming joke. On here I'll be going by the handle @grimfyr, but you can call me Grim for short. Why the pseudonym? I'm a socially anxious person, the pseudonym affords me the freedom to break out of my pigeon holed existence a bit without any preconceptions of who I am based on the gender or ethnicity of how my name sounds. It's taken me a while to bring myself to write this intro post and figure out exactly how I want to introduce myself.
So who am I? I'm an engineer, a parent, and (I consider my self to be) an artist. The last bit there is where my imposter syndrome kicks in. I'm partially colour blind which makes me question a lot of choices. I dabble in abstract works, mostly digital (I've tried painting a few times, but end up looking for an Undo button after a bit). Why am I here? With all of the recent volatility of social networks I wanted to look for alternatives and not be bound by algorithms or ads. I still have to find some good communities here, any suggestions are most welcome! Thank you!
