RE: Cervantes introduces the Lince project - Actions against Plagiarism and Abuse in the Spanish Speaking Community

in #introduceyourself7 years ago

Hello @lince,

Firstly, I am very grateful for the English translation here. This is something that I feel is paramount to the success of Steemit, in the long term. It would be a shame if Steemit became a lot of separate groups with individual philosophies on how to act and behave. It is very easy to understand. Be creative and share, means to share what you create. It's fine to use images and credit and link the source, because the pictures help with the blogs, as a lot of writing might not be accepted as well by the general community, because of the simple reason that we like pictures. They help to paint a fuller picture and the selections express something about the Steemian.

I am presently policing my own account and checking that those I have followed are okay and it can be difficult, sometimes, but I'm learning loads as I go. Speaking of learning, I have learned something very fundamental from your post. The 'Decline Payout' option in the rewards box. I am going to add this to a post I am thinking of doing, regarding plagiarism...... wait, hang on a minute....... isn't that plagiarism? :D no, I will be crediting you for it, but will be my own witing. Credit where it's due, I say.

As soon as I read this, I was thinking that it would be a good idea to have a U.K. group like this and hopefully we can link up together and maybe encourage other countries to do the same and join in, but due to the community spirit here, I am hoping that you have followers from around the world and maybe my idea is not as good as it first sounded?? I will consider this further and take on board all suggestions and ideas offered.

I really love Steemit and just want to be a more integral part of it and am in 100% support of this topic and others that not only provide support and direction for Steemit's future, but also open doors for people to learn and experience new things, within a community of like-minded, reciprocal folk.

Thank you very much for this post and for the translation. It was nice to find this.
