Hi, Steemit. I’m Haruka, living in Osaka, Japan. I’m a freelance translator, as well as a self-taught illustrator in spare time.
Through my job I got to know about brockchain technology and cryptocurrency, and was fascinated with the chaotic but lively mood when something critically new is getting popularity. Then I’ve heard about steemit, and start to think it could be a good source of motivation for me to practice writing in English and showcase my illustration works.
And also I make some jewelries.
Of course I love to travel around.

There are so many amazing people here. Don't pay too much attention to the drama (there isn't THAT much compared to other sites) or "Trending" or "New" pages. Like I suggested, if you find people through comments and tags your feed will be full of interesting people in no time! Remember, it's still social media! hahaha

Nice to meet you Haruka, I love your illustrations! My girlfriend and I were in Tokyo for a week last year, we didn't get to see Osaka due to being .. very poor, ha! But next time we surely will. I will give you a follow and look out for your work.

Tokyo is a great metropolis, so I'm not sure Osaka would have any things to see like Tokyo... :D But it's a nice place to stay anyways, things are cheap and it's easy to access other more relaxing, historical places like Kyoto or Nara. It'd be great if you have an opportunity to visit here sometime :)
