Hello every one,
I am new to this community and found out about it on Youtube from another Youtuber that is on here under the name @allasyummyfood. I was subscribed to her awesome recipe channel and also have my own channel called Healthy Recipe Channel, geared towards healthy nutrition. My passion after working in the Health and Fitness Industry as a Supplement Store Owner and also a licensed Nutritionist for over 20 years, is to teach as many people as possible how to improve their health and quality of life, through simple, delicious, healthy, and nutritious food. I feel that this is one of the things that has a very big gap to cover for most of us when it comes to our health and happiness.
Through out the years since the age of 12 I have been interested in cooking delicious food and interested in fitness, it has been a very long journey filled with joy on both areas since I just turned 40 years old. In the 90's when I was in my teens and the world was crazy about low fat diets I would eat bowls and bowls of pasta, potatoes, rice for my carbohydrates with tuna and Skinless Chicken Breast. That was the fad in those years that fat would kill us and clog our arteries. Oh how we have evolved since. I have experimented through out those years with just about every diet and every training regimen from Keto diets to Vegan diets. Had blood work done every 6 months through out the years to see how different things affected me personally.
After all of those years and all of those experiments I have come to a few protocols for healthy living that I think could benefit most of us. I will share recipes and tips with all of you guys on how to stay healthy and live better with out having to suffer like I did in my younger years eating the Bro diets of dry chicken breast and boring unflavored potatoes and rice. You can eat easy to prepare nutrient dense delicious foods and still be in great shape and have great health. I will also share with you many ideas and diet and nutrition protocols that are worth mentioning or trying from intermittent fasting to Veggie Juicing. Also try to save many of you from making the mistakes that I made when I was very impatient and tried to lose weight too fast and ruined my metabolism for many years to follow. You see those before and afters you see all over the place done very fast will ruin your health long term. I will elaborate more in my posts later.
These are pictures from a bodybuilding competition I did here in Florida in 2009 and the last straw to really messing up my metabolism. I did this in 6 months time by going from training with weights 30 minutes per day and 20 minutes of cardio to training one hour per day with weights and up to 3 hours of cardio eating basically 0 carbohydrates at the end on a diet of Steamed Tilapia for the last week. I learned a lot from this terrible mistake.
All in all I want to teach you guys how to make beautiful delicious traditional food with a few tweaks to make it from unhealthy to healthy and nutritious. All of my recipes contain tons of natural fresh herbs and spices and tons of vegetables. Everything is made from scratch including all sauces. I stay away from foods or ingredients that contain preservatives. I hope I can bring many of you on this beautiful journey of healthy eating and improved quality of life through good Nutrition.
Just a little Example of the types of recipes you can expect to see from me on here. This is a Vegan Quinoa Soup made from Scratch with all fresh ingredients and herbs. Not all recipes are Vegan, but I do love eating Vegetables, and they are the main part of my diet and I believe crucial to good health. See You guys real Soon. :)
