RE: ♡ Introducing @hempress: Earth-loving Organic Seamstress, Cannabis Farmer, Hula-Hooper ♡

Wow! 11! You're blessed. Not much in the way of foxes in Acapulco, I just spent all of February there. Plenty of street dogs though and some of them sort of look like foxes in a way I guess :-) Do you know about Anarchapulco which happens there every year? I'm sure you will enjoy yourself - that is quite a move! Wishing you all the best as your embark on your journey. Another interesting tidbit, my family is from South-End-on-Sea in Essex ♡ not far from where you are now I think. I wonder what made you decide to up and move across the world?

Sort:

We are REALLY blessed with wildlife here, & it’s the foxes I’ll miss the most. Those 11 really were separate sightings, too, not just the same guy doubling back. I’ll also miss the squirrels a little because Acapulco squrirels aren’t quite the same.
There are so many reasons for the move and I hope I remember them all when people ask us why we did it, and there will be a lot of friends & family asking (we’ve only told one in advance – good thing none of the others are on Steemit).
I’m more in tune with Anarchoforko than Anarchapulco, oddly enough, and very annoyed we didn’t make it there for the first one. The way we’re going we’ll be lucky to get there by this year’s Buen Fin (the Mexican Black Friday).

Even if you get a late start, it'll be fine because at least you'll get more opportunities to spot some foxes right ;-) I have heard about how you can feed the red squirrels in England and how they will come right up to you. It is a shame you didn't make it to the Fork as it was a wonderful time. It was an honor and a pleasure to be there for the first year. I hope we get the chance to cross paths in person next time around!

You'd be lucky to find a red one these days. But I did get a grey to eat out of my (gloved) hand. Video to prove it!
