My name is Kimberly.
{Me and Lilly frolicking on a rare snow day}
I'm married to a man I love very much and we have two pups- Lilly and Seamus.
{Frands}
I live in the mountains of north Alabama where I am working with my family to build our Earthbag house and become as self sufficient as possible with 4 acres of wild land.
My passions include homesteading, studying Torah, making jewelry, singing, researching wellness, writing, hunting, mountain medicine/ herbalism, cooking and spending as much time outside as possible.

Thanks so much!
Welcome! Alabama is dear to me since I lived in the FL panhandle aka Lower Alabama for a decade :) Your jewelry is beautiful! I’ll be following!
Awesome! Thank you. I grew up in niceville in the Florida panhandle and moved up here in high school. From the bayou to the mountains :)

Thank you! They're super sweet too :)
Welcome to Steemit! I am originally from your area, on the border of Alabama / Tennessee in Huntland. I live in the Rocky Mountains now. Looking forward to your posts.
Nice! Your page is awesome.
@honeyriver welcome to steemit.
Welcome! I look forward to many more of your posts :)
Love the photo of the dogs together! Welcome to Steemit!
Thanks! They are always entertaining us with their antics :)
Wow, Lilly could have a brother! My parents use to fish along the Tennessee River in Alabama (I'm actually in north Alabama right now). Someone had thrown out two dogs to fend for themselves along the river that we eventually adopted (we adopted the dogs, not the river).
Lilly's potential brother, Redd, is in the middle. Jed is the speckled one nearest that was his castaway brother along the river. Daisy, the lap dog, was also a discarded puppy from northern Alabama. Not to worry, they all have a good home now in Indiana and all three love the snow. Like all of us that were born in the south, we all love the snow.
Wow! That's for sure. So glad all those beautiful pups found a good home!
Welcome to Steemit. Looking forward to seeing your outdoor adventures.
Welcome to Steemit, love the pups they look like they keep you busy.
They're full of energy but also love to chill. We are glad they have each other to play with.
Welcome to the steemit family
What a beautiful pendant. Something very captivating about it's shape, lines, and flow. Glad you're here. Will look forward to hearing more.
Thanks! I drew my inspiration from the flow of rivers.

You are welcome to steemit community.
Beautiful photos. I make jewelry also and love seeing new designs. My jewelry making is not as intricate as yours…I still have a great time making it! I am always so happy to read that traditions and survival skills are being shared. What a blessing. Take good care and we look forward to more photos and your journey with the earth bag house!
Thanks! Happy to meet a fellow jeweler steemian :)
Honey River Kimberly, AKA Kim Possible with a great smile of joy and cute puppies, I'm Joey, and I'm a big fan of farms, forest, homesteads, but haven't been to Alabama. Attended Bible colleges in New York, West Virginia, and I'm from Oregon. Was in Vietnam, Hawaii, and some of these places are beautiful but maybe not this beautiful. Good work with marriage and with the dogs and the nice photos, here, too. Good work.
Hey Joey! Thanks for the kind words!
Welcome!!!! :D
Thank you!
Hi Kimberly, welcome, and is one of your dogs a redbone/walker hound? That is a beautiful pendant. Love the chrystal tucked within. Are you a rock hound also? I will be looking forward to seeing more. I belong to the @homesteadersonline group that @goldendawne mentioned above. Check it out if you haven't already. There are some amazing individuals that participate.
Hey, thanks. I do love finding beautiful rocks to make jewelry with but don't regularly dig for them. Both of our dogs are rescued pups but we think the shorthaired one(Seamus) is a pit/ Rottweiler mix and the longhaired (Lilly) is a red retriever/ border collie mix.
I will definitely check that group out once I get the link. Sounds great!
