I am a newbie computer programmer. I am in fact at the very beginning of my journey, so have decided to share my notes, and learning with you here at Steemit. Maybe it can be of help to others who are also new to the field, or perhaps others with more experience can also share their knowledge or helpful advice.
I believe a good way to learn is to teach, so that is what I am attempting to do with my blog here at Steemit. To teach through sharing, to create a journey of my learning, and think through all that I am studying to make certain that I get it – and get it enough to pass on that knowledge.
Perhaps this will aid others, or perhaps it will just assist me in solidifying the knowledge. Only time will tell. If you at all interested in the topic then feel free to follow along, and to introduce yourself and I will follow you also.
I am based in Warrnambool, Australia, but so far my studies are all online. I guess it's the way of the future.

I welcome new followers, and thank you for your upvotes and comments.
Hey whats up @humate! Welcome to Steemit, great to see a fellow programmer ;)
I look forward to see your contributions to the forum and as you say, learn by teaching is a great way to improve one's growth.
If you're into tech, self-development, travelling etc feel free to check out my channel, otherwise I'll see you around brother!
Hey, thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment. Much appreciated. I'd be happy to drop by your blog and take a look.
Thanks again, and see you around.

Welcome to steemit and welcome to the world of programming. Ive been a professional programmer for years now and have even started to teach new programmers various languages, here on steemit and also on youtube (well actually i post my YouTube content onto steemit.)
Its actually fairly hard for me to get in to the shoes of a newer programmer so i appreciate this type of stuff because it helps remind me what it was like to just start out. Im not here to plug my blog or YouTube but if you are interested in rust, elm, go or elixir, head on over and see if you learn something.
Again, welcome and best of luck with your studies.
Thank you for the warm welcome. I appreciate you dropping by and introducing yourself also. I'd be more than happy to take a look at your blog, as I am wanting to make my time here to be interactive and not just one way flow of communication.
I can imagine the difficulty of trying to remember the days of being a new and uncertain programmer. Well I endeavour to reach where you are at, but have quite the journey in front of me. Which is fine, I'm looking forward to it.
welcome to steemit @humate, best regards..
hopefully you feel at home here. 😊
Thank you for the welcome.
