Hello Fellow Steemians!
I'm really exciting to be writing my first post! My name is Cheryl and I totally didn't expect to find such a fun place to share my Road Trip tales. I only found this wonderful community 2 days ago. Since then I've been busy reading many of your post and trying to find the best way I can contribute. I've really enjoyed reading your posts and will work hard to fully contribute to this community. I like reading, walking, learning about Bitcoin and other crypto currencies and oh...taking Road Trips!
So here it goes...
I'm currently on a Road Trip of a lifetime going around the coastal regions of England. I set off on the 1st September 2016. The reason for me starting the Road Trip was to find myself. My beautiful, wonderful Mother who gave me the very best anyone could ever wish for sadly passed away last year. She was my rock, my foundation. I was her walking stick. I had cared for mother and my late father all my adult life. I had so much fun, my mum was an inspiration not only to me but to so many others. The loss of both parents leaves you with many questions about yourself.

Who Am I?
After I had carried out my Mums final wish of laying her to rest with my Father, I woke up the next day and found myself asking that very question "Who Am I". If you've ever asked yourself the same question you'll know it can come as a thunderbolt from nowhere! It was scary and I remember trembling.
I didn't know the answer!
I had achieved a lot in my life but I couldn't easily answer that question. It worried me and when I got back home it was still very much on my mind. I decided that I would take a weekend break...go to Brighton...Sit on the beach and cast all my fears away. It worked and I was feeling much better about life.
Then something happen!
As I was waiting outside the (highly recommended) YHA Hotel/Hostel, I saw a coach with a map of its route on the side. I thought to myself it would be fun to take it one day and go from one end to the other. Then something inside me said "go beyond the last stop, follow the road all the way around England!" (Big Gulp) :0 Who me???
Pretty daunting! Right!!!
Remember...I'm a female traveller who is about to leave all her friends and family and go on a solo trip to unknown places. The reaction of my nearest and dearest was something I didn't expect...Follow me to find out my highs and lows and just how much it unexpectedly changed the life of others. This is a remarkable story of freedom, peace and love that I'm sharing with the world for the very first time. My friends say I should write a book (lol)...thinking about it... maybe the first draft will be penned right here on Steemit...It would certainly push me too start it...How awesome would that be!!!
Expect to discover secret beaches, great food, awesome photography and an inspirational tale or two. ;)
The Great Thing Is...
I haven't finished the Road Trip yet...I've only just begun. My young cousin sadly passed away suddenly and I had to return home. Since then, one thing has led to another and I haven't been able to get back on the road but who knows with enough Upvotes maybe I can get back on the road again soon and my story of self discovery will go on to impact millions of people. Perhaps that is who I Am! Perhaps my contribution to this community will literally push me till I make to all the way around England. Wow...exciting and can't wait! Still looking for the answer!
Anyways...Enough about me!
I'm eager to learn more about others in this wonderful community.
