Don't be discouraged if you are not noticed real fast, if you are patient look around read a lot make thoughtful comments and post, you will grow and have great success here.
There is a thing called Discord it has many channels. @minnowbooster, @steemgigs, @freezepeach, are just a few I recommend. There are some very helpful people all over steemit, too many to mention. Just look for them and follow them and you will find your way.
