My friend has been urging me to join steemit since last December, but I was too busy with work that I only signed up last January 31, and had my account approved just yesterday. She told me a lot of stories about steemit, and ensured me that I'll enjoy my time here. I was scanning the posts in this site, and it does seem like a social media platform where you can freely express yourself, interact with people from all walks of life and meet new friends. And I want to make friends with you too, can I? Lol. So let me share with you some brief facts about myself.
I am Faith Tajanlangit, 25 years old, single and heartbroken (LOL) and a resident of Davao City, Philippines, the home city of our beloved President Rodrigo Duterte. I studied BS in Hospitality Management, and I am currently working as a hotelier in the best hotel in Southern Philippines, the Marco Polo Hotel - Davao. I served as the Lobby Ambassadress, Front Desk Receptionist, and now, I'm a member of the Sales and Marketing Team, and take active role in the promotions of the hotel and its services.
Though I love my work and am enjoying most of my time while into it, there are unavoidable situations where I feel stressed. So I'd make sure to enjoy myself from time to time and keep myself refreshed with some activities and adventures which I would gladly share with you as I stay longer here in steemit.
I am my parents' only child, and I only seek to make them happy and provide all their needs in any ways and means. It's my lifelong responsibility to take good care of them and won't stop doing everything to put smiles on their faces.
Why am I here in Steemit?
As I mentioned above, I am a young woman who constantly seeks adventures from time to time. Photo below is a shot of my first horse riding experience (Horses are very rare here in the Philippines Haha.)
I don't even know how to ride a bicycle yet, but this is my first bicycle riding and I did it several meters off the ground. What a remarkable achievement! hahaha!
I've been planning to travel to several top tourist destinations here in the Philippines and I want to share these future experiences with you here in steemit. There's Boracay and Palawan in my travel list, Camotes Island and Bantayan Island in Cebu, and the wind power plant in Ilocos where some of my relatives reside.

That's crazy riding a bike on the high wire... and for it being your first time too. I enjoy mountain biking but I don't think I would try what you were doing.
