I think each decade in the roaring twentieth century has produced new technologies and art forms for personalizing and popularizing electronic, light-speed quantum energies. Since 1900 our society of factory workers and farmers has been transformed into an information-age culture totally committed to flashing realities on screens. Americans spend more time looking at television monitors than they do gazing into the eyes of family and friends. Power, politics and culture are determined by who controls the screens.
I follow the trends of evolution. I go with the electron flow. I see myself as a quintessential American, just going along for the ride.
TIME IS HONEY, GO WITH THE ELECTRON FLOW
I'm a blockchain skeptic, and like Timothy Leary, am just along for the ride. I see the promises of reduced friction, in the form of less trust needed if proof is offered.
I still worry what happens when social trust hits rock bottom. Is proof still enough? Some social trust serves as lubricant for the remaining friction.
Trust is also not indispensable when there are some mathematical truths can't be proven
The post-truth world is really post-trust world. The boosters of fiat currency still think oil futures have value. Energy storage is going to change that, and the dollar will surely bust. We will eventually see that time was never money.

Occasionally I get printed or aired on traditional media by chance. This month (April 2018) Sky & Telescope printed one of my Lyrid meteor photos.
I am fascinated by certain ideas of alchemy. Carl Jung talked about the ancient concept called enantiodromia, that described how certain psychological processes transmute into their opposites. Heraclitus was the first in Western philosophy to elaborate the idea.
While negating the myth that TIME IS MONEY I have been forced to create a new understanding for myself of what time and money are, both physically and culturally. This is an ongoing journey of re-imagining.
Limnocentricity is a special case of topological enantiodromia: edge becomes the center, and the center moves to the edge. Is this also the fractal topology of the mind?
There is a secret to broken symmetry. What appears to be transmuting an opposite becomes a higher or lower perspective from the same angle. The circle becomes spiral.
I'm interested in computational photography and recently acquired a Light L16. The rest of the images here were all taken in the last week with it.
