I wanted to thank the whole community for your support! Today morning when I log in into Steemit, I noticed that I have reached 100 followers :) And it took me three weeks - from my perspective, it is a very good result!
Since I'm rather the introvert, interacting online was always a trouble for me. The community of Steemit change it and now I'm less afraid or ashamed to speak and debate a global community :)
And this is only the beginning. I'm planing to create more and more valuable content in the near future, so stay tuned :)
Also, I'm officially putting myself to the challenge to reach 500 followers until the end of the year! The most interesting thing I can say is that I like your name. The imperfect one.. yes I like free SBD or whatever you are offering.. but to keep it short, you show humility to each person on here. Yes there could certainly be named someone like the "perfect-one", but you made it so to remind each and everyone one of us that's perfection is only relegated to heaven.

It's hard to be engaging, I know nothing about you, I just ran into this post by chance.
I am here at steemit to build community and make some money so I can quit my job and spend more time building community, writing and playing music.
I want to challenge you to say something engaging to me. If it's the most engaging reply to my reply, I will follow you X-D
Wow, I didn't expect this kind of challenge :) However, what can I say? I fully agree with your words about how hard is to be engaging and I'm here also for the similar reasons as you do. But also for something more. Something which is probably the most important for me personally: I want to break barriers. Both my personal weaknesses like being more open and barriers between publications and readers. I will be honoured if you would like to join me and observe whether I'm able to achieve this goal.
Not only will I be happy to observe, but I'd be happy to help if I can. One of my favorite things to spend my time on is helping people get their shit together, to become who they want to be and see life more clearly. Followed ;-)

I guess it's very important to interact with people here. Comment and share opinions. You can also read about proven methods of getting followers - there are many posts about that on Steemit. Just use the search option and I'm sure you will find it.

I only have a week and few posts and i have like 70 followers (without asking for follows). I think as you said that is for interacting and sharing opinions. The good of that is connecting with people with same interests/opinions.

Here's to one day the steemit community growing and growing and you never know we may hit numbers which no one are expecting to hit.
Being an introvert have you struggled with connecting to people online? I am guessing that online is a lot easier than in real life. If this is the first social media platform you have been involved in, why is this the one you choose to conduct your interactions? Can you learn from this experience in a way that will allow you to connect more personally outside of online?
The reason i ask these questions is because if you can use this as a launch pad to get social and use that for connecting to people in real life then that could be really good for you. Its not terrible to be an introvert but I think finding a middle between that and extrovert would be way better. Networking can be amazing for more than just social aspects, jobs and relationships.
I write a lot about Buddhism and it teaches the Middle Path. Finding a balance that's not too extreme in any direction. Aim for that.

It's not easier at all, not for me at least. It is not the first social media platform that I have an account on, but the first one where I'm really involved in posting. You asked about the reasons I choose it, well first of all my friend @noisy was telling me about it for quite some time, second I decided to learn more about cryptocurrencies and Steemit seems the best place to learn (and earn) at this moment. Finding this middle between introvert and extrovert that you are referring to is my goal in fact. I'm talking about the real life of course. The future will show wether I'm able to achieve that. Your name sounds very negative. I first wrote something about how you are not "imperfect" but want to write that we are all imperfect. We all have imperfections. But we can view our selves as perfect because we are that too. We should consider ourselves lucky to be alive and living this life. Just my two cents.
