"Success is walking from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm." - Winston Churchill
Life is hard, and lately,
It has kicked me in the ass.
But, through it all, this quote seemed to linger in my head.
Even when I failed and lost everything I had worked so hard to obtain, it gave me a sense of comfort, maybe even gratitude for the difficult journey.
Success isn't something we obtain, success is found in being thankful.
Its found in acknowledging what you did wrong and then stepping forward past it.
Leaving your mistakes behind and stepping towards personal growth.
With it comes new perspectives, things that seemed ugly turn beautiful, and your comfort zones begin to transform.
This goes for your view of life itself, and for the art you create.
For me, its pushed me to find new perspectives in both my music and photography, I strive to be different, and learn to share my ever-changing attitude through my art.
Now, I don't expect to go over everything that happened, but I want to provide some background with you all.
In the past 6 months, I went from being enrolled full-time in college to getting kicked out due to legal issues, to being pushed all the way back to home. Everything I fought and worked for, stripped away because of something I had no choice in.
All my dreams revolved around the town my college was in, and suddenly, I couldn't stay.
And, as a dreamer, this was something I had never experienced before.
Suddenly, I had no dreams, no aspirations.
I was back at 0, at the sucked.
Weeks past by, I tried to find new plans to go back, nothing opened up.
So I tried to find a job, how could I pay back all this debt if I wasn't making money?
It took two more months of putting in over 35 applications to finally land a job, but the wait was worth it. I found a job I love, my spirit was eased for a moment.
But of course, that didn't solve everything.
I wanted to go, there is so much more of the world I want to see!
So many beautiful people I want to meet.
But again, I had to calm myself.
If I am going to leave, I am gonna have to work.
But then I remembered, I have an insane amount of opportunity to meet and impact so many people.
So, I picked up my laptop, and made the decision to try this wonderful website out again.
I had been so accepted the first time I joined, its worth another try.
So, I am back! I am going to channel my energy into creating solid content, as well as posting my photos as often as possible. I strive to get better, so please make sure to comment honestly!
