You are quite funny. Youtube is still growing. Do you know any school kids watching DTube videos on the school yard? Exactly. I don't even know whether DTube is as accessible as Youtube is. Most certainly it's not preinstalled to smartphones too.
Besides, there are already some youngsters (age <18) on this platform. It's only a matter of time till local administrations will require the platform to employ some content protection measures. I can only speak for Germany but media education is largely not done by the public, instead there's laws creating a need for measures. That's why censorship on common social media platforms is so rawly implemented.
