I have fallen in love with 😍 Cryptos and some how stumbled into Steemit and it’s wonderful! Like you I loathe fakebook or fascistbook but all my friends and families use it ugh 😑 it annoys me with the ads and selling our information it’s like a Vampire and we need fakebook to die die die! Thanks jakeduck. Here's a question for you: does Steem ever plan to sell advertising and disperse the revenue to its content producers? I know how you feel about ads (and I'm really against the idea of selling people's info), but wouldn't it give you a warm fuzzy feeling if the content producers on FB were actually given a little kick back from the advertising revenue? I for one, would be in favor of this on Steem, but that's just me. What do you think?
awww man I do not know the answer to this I have not been here long enough...but judging from the flavor of this platform I do not see the need for advertising. Bad thing about fakebook is they know what we are browsing for so they target ads specifically at what we have previously looked at. Talk about lack of privacy geeezzzzz man.
