Welcome to the steemit community @foxcauldry!
We sincerely hope you find all that you are looking for here, and have found a new home.
I found this post because @heyhaveyamet promoted your post to help you grow quicker, and should you have any questions or need some guidance, you can go to the Steem Terminal in Discord.

Thanks, I just joined the discord channel. Though I have one question -- there are so many channels, which should I focus on? It's so overwhelming!

I would spend some time in that particular channel, you can get lots of beginner questions answered there, and there is extremely pleasant company that is in and out also. One thing that you have to be concerned with is Resource Credits, because you only have a limited amount in the beginning to work with, and it goes fast. If you would like, go there now and we'll see if we can get you the basics right now to work with. There are a couple of us in there now...

Sorry, I didn't get a chance to. What are Resource Credits?

If you upvote, comment, and resteem very much, you will get a notice, and it usually doesn't take long, that says that you cannot do anything until your "RC" is built up, you need to have a certain amount. And again, I do not recommend that you ask questions here, but in the Steem Terminal because it costs you here, where in Discord it does not cost anything. Go into the Steem Terminal, and go to "Questions answered" if no one is available, and @thekittygirl answers that question about RCs.

Thank you so much for directing me to that. Are you using up your RC by replying me here too?
