Hello! Incoming Tea Geek / Business student.

in #introduceyourself7 years ago

Hey all,

My name is Benj. To give you a once sentence bio, I am a business school student in love with loose leaf tea, international travel, and any kind of learning!

I recently joined the Steemit community due to a friends recommendation! So far I'm loving the concept and enjoying plenty of the content.

I'm looking forward to creating and sharing some content of my own in the near future as well! Here is my current brainstormed list of topics that I would like to share. Let me know if any of them seem interesting to you!

• Lessons from business school.
• Loose leaf tea adventures / journals.
• International travel memories / future experiences.
• Summaries from personal learning endeavors.
• Comments on the life, the universe, and beyond!

To throw in a quick teaser for the tea topic. Here is an awesome shot of one of my Gaiwans from a recent tea session.

Thanks! I'm impressed by the amount of travel content you've got on your blog already. Any tips for posting such material?

You're welcome! Think you'll do just fine here on Steemit, your intro post is very well written and it sounds like you have plenty of interesting topics to talk about. The only real tip we can give you is to be genuine and passionate about what you write ;) And the more you write the better you'll get. Looking forward to your next posts!

Hi Benj,

Welcome to Steemit! I think your list sounds really good; the subjects I'd most be interested in is your lessons from business school and your summaries from personal learning endeavours.

Although I am always fascinated to learn about things like tea rituals, and the photo you've posted is cool :-)

Also of course it looks like you speak Chinese; it is worth adding a Chinese transcript (or English transcript) of your posts and adding the cn tag. We have a big and growing Chinese community and it is well supported.

I look forward to reading more; I have a feeling I'm going to enjoy! :-D

Thanks for the warm welcome! I'll note down your interest.

Tea is always a fun addition as well. To let you know, Gaiwan is gai4 wan3 (盖碗) in Chinese. It's an awesome tea steeping tea tool.

I'll be sure to add some posts in Chinese in the future as well. Great tip!

Thanks for your honesty man! Making money sounds nice, but I've always wanted to get more into blogging as well. I'm looking forward to that!

I agree about the crap. Based on my initial scans, most content does seem fake or mediocre. Genuine and quality content seems a bit rare.
