being an artist is not a choice, J. - You have to be called, and I think you are. You're mostly called to suffering and out of your pain you write beautiful things. But that only happens if you are brave. I know when I am embarrassed to write something, I am being real and am very close to the truth. I feel foolish more often nowadays, and that's a good thing - being vulnerable and being real

We are both called, then. People like you inspire me. To be better, to write better, to take chances and be brave.
Being vulnerable is not easy, you are so right. And still, i want to be real. I must. And having talented people like you, from i could lear so much, it makes me feel happy, and honored.
