Hello Steemians & Hello World!
My name is Joseph Buarao and I’m very excited to join the @steemit community!
I’m 29 years old and I came from the beautiful country of more than 7,000 islands, the Philippines. Currently, I’m living in Quezon Province located in the southern part of Luzon.
I am Born Again Christian, Hillsong fanatic and PlanetShakers number one fan. I am a dreamer, I always dream beyond my capacity and always think out of the box. Natural born Filipino and came from poor family but I keep on working hard to change my destiny and my family’s situation.
I studied Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and currently working as WEB DEVELOPER specialized in front-end development (HTML, CSS, JQUERY, PHP, Wordpress & Concrete5). And at night, I spend my time as a minor blogger and as a small time cryptocurrency trader.
Aside from being geeky & computer wizard, I am very much in LOVE with cooking. I love to cook Filipino Food! Some of my favorite food are LECHON CEBU (especially Rico’s lechon) and BICOL EXPRESS from Bicol Region.
Me & My Wife.
I am happily married to the woman of my dreams. She is beautiful, gorgeous and sweet woman. Back then, she is my high school classmate and my high school crush, but now, she is my WIFE & my LIFE. Her name is Febe Grace Buarao, she is a teacher and same age as mine. She is Cebuana, kaya GWAPA kaayo sya at malambing :) . I could say that falling in-LOVE with a Cebuana is really exciting. I learned a lot from her, like I learned how to eat "Utan-Bisaya" ni Cebu, which I surprisingly loved the taste because of its uniqueness. Just last year, we went to Cebu to visit her brother and what I mostly love there was their very own “Lechon Cebu” which I could say that it’s the best lechon I have ever tasted! I could say that being married to a Cebuana is one of a kind because they are sweet and always fun to be with.
Me & My Pet
Me and my wife are fond of pets so we bought one. Her name is Trixie, a mini pinscher. We often call her “baby Trixie”, she’s turning 1 year old this 23rd of February. She is very adorable and funny. She’s really the stress reliever in our family. Everytime I went home, “sasalubong sya with matching ihi“ because of excitement. She is a dog that’s full of sweetness & wittiness- she always stay beside us on bed at night and while we are relaxing at the sofa. She loves to look out the window because she’s always curious of what is happening outside. See the photo below on how she did it.
More About Me
I love reading books, my favorite authors are John Maxwell & Adam Khoo. One of my favorite books is “Secret of Self-Made Millionaire by Adam Khoo”. My favorite movies are Argo & 3 Idiots. Also, I would like to share with you my favorite beach here in the Philippines, the "Sombrero Island". Please see the photo below.
I’ve been in the I.T. industry for more than six years. And being engaged in this industry, many opportunities open up each day that may lead to the road to success. One of those opportunities is when I discovered Steemit through one of my friends and upon reading the blog of steemian @purepinay. I was so amazed and inspired to immerse myself with this kind of opportunity. I want to thank them for opening my two “small eyes” and I hope that this new journey of mine will become fruitful as theirs.

Oo meron ako mga friends na nag-sign up na pero hindi pa sila active. At marami pa rin akong mga friends na ini-invite ko dito. Grabe, isa ako sa mga fans mo, ang galing galing mo naman, successful mo kasi dito. Lage ako nagbabasa sa mga blog post mo at iba pang mga pinoy. Meron ba chat channel mga Pinoy dito? Looks like you have a pretty lovely life in the Philippians. Still one of those place I would love to visit but have not been able to get there. I was curious what exactly LECHON CEBU is? Looks like a roasted pig or something like that haha
