RE: Hello Steemit!

Oh! I'm so following you! I had the same math teacher from 7th grade through Senior year and she was so hateful I always thought I hated math. Once I got away from her I started to just love it though I've not had the time to indulge in advanced education, so peeps like you are a treasure to have around. Really looking forward to your posts :)

Just a hint from one newbie to another: Try to use the #minnowsunite. This will get your work in front of other minnows dedicated to helping the community make it to the next level, as well as some more established folks who are generously working to help us along.

Also, many newbies are having trouble understanding the importance of and ways of accumulating SP. Please do yourself a favor and READ THIS. Failure to understand this process can lead to a sort of shut down of your account's capabilities to participate.

Best of luck!

Thanks for the follow and link, that post helped a lot! I'll be sure to give the # a try, and you a follow.

As for my attitude on math and science, I can only thank the teachers and role-models I've had over the years. They showed me that learning didn't have to be boring, but fun and interactive. (My personal favorite is when they brought in pie on pi day! lol). I've been very lucky with the teachers I had, 9/10 good-to-awesome teachers, and now that I'm in college I realize more than ever that teachers can make or break a class. So I try to change peoples' opinions on science/math to something more positive whenever I can, however I can.
