|| Working on the Art Piece "Diana, The Warrior Goddess of Puerto Escondío" ||
Greetings. My name is José Enrique González Márquez, a plastic artist and teacher born in the town of Lagunillas, on the Eastern Coast of Lake Maracaibo in State of Zulia, Venezuela, April 17th, 1966.
I’m an Illustrator, Painter and Sculptor.
I did my first painting studies on Master Darío Suarez’s workshop, on Cabimas City from 1974 to 1976. In 1975, when I was just 10 years old, I won First Place at “I Salón de Pintura ASTRAMARA” (1st ASTRAMARA Painting Salon) at Lagunillas, my hometown.

I was a Founder Member of AVAPCOL, Asociación de Artistas Plásticos de la Costa Oriental del Lago (Association of Artists of the East Coast of the Lake). I have a lot of interest on be part of this Platform and participate by sharing my work, through the evaluation on the implementation of my job, as it is drawing and its formal process, which as I understand, is ranked on a base of curation by a group of specialist, designers, illustrators and artists on the media or that are part of this multi-plastic context across the web, something that is truly new for me, taking in consideration my lack of experience on the social media. Actually, I just have one year using Facebook, I don’t have an Instagram neither.

I particularly consider this platform as a way to share my art and project it through a plural window that offers the opportunity to learn and grow within a reflexive human group, which supports and encourages art, along the interaction and integration in contexts where creativity is deprived as a mean of essential expression, sensitive and primordial, which in turn encourages and motivates the concretion and evolution of new proposals and languages within the practice of plastic arts in general and other artistic and cultural expressions.

I can also offer descriptive contents about Development Process in Plastic Approaches Execution, such as drawings from the original outline of the sketch and frame, on mixed technics with dry and aqueous media: charcoal, cuttlefish, sanguine, pastel chalks, smudges, greasy crayons, combined with gouaches based on inks and acrylics diluted in toned spots, on supports such as primed cloth, cardboard, wood veneers and paper. All those techniques used in the performance of my work as an Artist in full exercise of such important way of expression as Drawing is.

To finish this note, I hope to count with this platform to share, project and let others know about contents with a technic process base and at the same time, the practical in order to record and impart knowledge and learning within the execution of the exercise and formal foundations, as well as conceptual and the means of expression to use on Plastic Arts.
