Curious as I am, I was very excited and in a great hurry to join the Steemit community last time, so I didnβt quite say anything about myself ... so ... l hope I will have a second chance to fix that π
Here goes the story ...
First of all Iβd like to maintain my main reason why I am here.
That was my first thought when my boyfriend @gingergeorge asked me to join. As I already mentioned in the previous post, my presence here is his merit. Itβs been a while that I was thinking to start my own blog so this came in the right moment, right here to push me to start to write ALREADY. π Things are happening with a reasonβ¦ they sayβ¦ π
My mission is simple.
Blog honestly about everything that makes my life as it is, share my thoughts, experiences and achievements. Support others, you, dear Steemiters, your stories and built strong and friendly community in a way to better ourselves and everything around us.
Each of you has its own story that you need to be proud of and I am looking forward to read it and to highlight it to you in case you are still not aware of it π
My story started 26 years ago after I fell down in this wonderWORLD π I was born and raised in a small city located in the north-central part of Dalmatia, in a beauty country of Croatia. It is not enough just to say the name of it because the city is far more than that but as I will write more about it later I will grant this failure to myself. Itβs called Ε ibenik. If you watched Game of Thrones, 5th season, then you need to know that Bravos took its place there π
I am a journalist or at least I was until I found another way to express myself. I found myself in another country. Shortly after I graduated, after only a couple of days, I packed my suitcase and I left the country. Since then I have been living totally different way of a life. Spain became my new home and my new treasure hunt. I have been living in Spain, to be exact in Valencia and Seville for more than a year; travelling all over the country in order to explore each segment of that beautiful country. I made my research and fell in love with the Spanish way of a life, especially liked the siesta thing, which is not so hard to like, right ?? ππ€
Basically, I started to live the nomad's way of a life and from the bottom of my heart to the highest point of it I loved it. My aspiration was to leave my comfort zone and to get out into this unexplored, mysterious world to investigate and to explore everything what makes it so diverse and beautiful. As I fell in love with such way of a life, I did it and I am still doing it π€
Just when I thought I could stay a little longer, I could settle down a bit, I found myself in a very ungrateful situation. You cannot escape the fact you left behind. Family, friends, boyfriend ... Difficult. Thatβs all I can say. I was struggling a lot and at the end decided to go back home. I was crying so much, all my way home. Came home exhausted. Unbelievable. I know.
BUT, I didnβt stay there for a long πI knew this was going to happen because whenever you want something and you want it really hard, the whole world will turn to you and somehow allow it to happen. After only 6 months I packed my suitcases again and moved to another new unexplored location. I came to Lisbon. Beautiful Portugal. Maybe because I wanted to stay close to Spain or because I found a job really easily, I donβt know, ha-ha but I am here now, happy with my efforts to fulfil my new mission.
Not to forget to mention, this time my heart is complete. This time I got my Ginger Man next to me.
Iβm an expert in Erasmus programs for the students and for the young entrepreneurs as well. I will write more about it lately, so if you are interested in living abroad and getting paid for that, which is pretty cool isnβt it π stay with me π
I am a huge book lover. There is nothing like getting lost in a completely other world, a world made of letters and words. Addict to series, movies and learning languages. Right now watching Black Mirror, reading Diary of Anne Frank and learning Portuguese language.
Travel addict in love with photography and video editing. Actually, I am now searching for the right camera to buy. Have read a lot about mirror-less cameras, but still donβt know which one to buy. If you have any suggestions, I will appreciate your help a lot π
DIY creator and perfectionist.
Committed to support and celebrate volunteering in all its diversity, to benefit others. Currently searching for the opportunity to live a shared responsibility for the world and shape it for a better future. My next goal is to participate in one program of that kind. Looking forward to spend my holidays somewhere where I can give back a little, help others in need and otherwise engaged in selfless pursuit.
This time I wrote a book unlike last time, it seems πππ inordinately. ππ
Thank you for taking your time to read a "bit" about me. π

Hope you will find something interesting for you.
