Hello @Steemit community!
My name is Radu and I'm awfully thankful for finding out and joining this community. I really hope people will get to know and understand more and more the beauty behind blockchain technologies.
The concept of this project is amazing and I'm pretty sure the development of many thrilling projects will sky rocket in the following period.
My studies relate to Media and Politics so I'm pretty far from the technological field. Nonetheless, this was not a stop in seeing how immense, potent and unexplored the cyberspace is.
The main reason joining the community is the attempt to raise awareness of what a documented research of #crypto, #btc, #mining etc. is, in order to wash as much as possible the mass media biased frenzy.
I'm born in Romania but I've lived in UK, Germany, USA and now I'm in Spain - The initial idea of joining was the attempt to share my thoughts and research in Romanian language but I will limit the Romanian posts to the ones really requiring that and eventually re-post them in English. In this sense, some of my awareness posts will be in Romanian language so the message penetrates the potential language barrier. #apologize
Now back to myself, I mentioned I live in Spain and I think it's a miracle of a country - #tapas #fiesta and #siesta are crazy in this place - I'm saying this because this is the most South place I've lived and it seems that it matched perfectly the sun, the vibrant people and an awfully easy to speak language - the easiest out of the 5 so called Latin ones. I say this because it says a lot about what kind of person is behind the keyboard. I'm happy to engage in new projects, to meet up, discuss and explore!!
Really hope to make new friends here and start rolling fruitful relations!
P.S. I have a cat, his name is Berlin, he's orange and loves to fetch stuff - some sort of dog like syndrome -
Salut Radu ! Bine ai venit !
Bine ați venit!
Welcome to steemit :) No I can't speak Romanian but I wish I would. Trying to learn it for a long long time but I just know some phrases and basic words yet haha. My parents grew up in a small village near Mures. From where are you? And how does it come that you lived in so many countries?
I am looking forward for more posts (maybe I will understand some Romanian though ). I am sure you will fall in love with this platform just like I did. The people here are great. Enjoy!
la revedere
Hi! Mures area is amazing, the Merry Cemetery is there (part of UNESCO). I think I just went were the wind blew me. I studied my BA in UK, then from there went and worked for a while in Wisconsin US, then back in Romania for a master, then in Berlin to work under the masters program and now I live in Madrid, Spain. Thank you very much for the welcome!
I have never been there, time to change it haha! Sounds like a really interesting story, you saw already so much from the world. I am currently living for one year in the Philippines but I am German :) In which you felt the most comfortable yet?
Wow..Philippines sounds amazing as well! - I would say Spain is very comfortable although not as well organized as UK or Germany.
Yeah I know what you mean. I literally had to get used to from 100% organisation to 0% haha. As amazing this country is planned stuff never works out how it was supposed to be and the unplanned do.
Welcome to steemit, I home you will post in every week and see from you more idea.
Deci bine ai venit !
Welcome, Radu!
